Those reprobate Republicans do it again-no union dues withholdin 

Well, they've done it again.  This time the 'Re'pubs passed an act repealing the automatic
withholding of dues from the pay checks of  public school teachers- to be transmitted to the NCEA, North Carolina Education Association.-a Union.  That means that people employed as teachers in the State don't have to pay mandatory union dues. . Awful, isn't it ?   Yeah, the State should be a collection agency for a union, and dues should be compulsory.  Don't we have  Right-To-Work law here ?   Well, libs are raising hell.  It's like putting a clamp on their wind-pipe. Just terrible.  Those wrascally repubs.!

They ought to repeal the vile government schools alltogether and let people educate their children in whatever manner they feel is appropriate.  That way each teacher would be paid every cent he or she deserves and we could stop this incessant fighting about what teachers get paid, about prayer in school, about bussing, about evolution, about sex ed and all the other rediculous battles engendered when you force some people to pay the freight for other people's recreational copulation.

tjc: The NCEA is 100 percent political.  It is component part of the Dem party in the State.
They pressure legislators, State officials, and others.  Political money is its big lure. Any way, too many  teachers do their bidding. Kind of shakes your confidence in the public education system. The exec officers of this union make double what a college professor at Wake makes. Just telling it like it is.

The News & Observer is absolutely insane with rage.  Front page, editorials and mad school teachers letters to the editor. So what that it was  done at midnight ?  The inane idea is that the hour of the vote  made it illegal.  Goes back to the basic question:  Why should the State be a collecting agency for a labor union? Outrageous!  Sulk and pout all you want, but collect your own union dues with your own work force, damnit!

Amen, Koobs.  The Raleigh Views and Disturber is an awful, biased rag.  I wish Rupert Murdoch or someone would put it out of its misery.
