I would like to see either an addition to the Williams Organ at Wait Chapel or a new antiphonal organ to bring the sacred music capabilities at Wait up to those enjoyed by Duke Chapel.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...feature=related  I cannot, of course, finance such a thing by myself but would be very happy to contribute as much as I can since I am a great fan of traditional hymns and other music played on these types of instruments.  I think it is a good thing for Wake students to be exposed to true "praise and worship", since many of them grew up in churches full of drums and electric bass guitars (I have nothing against that form of worship, either, so don't start on me!)   The Williams is a fine instrument now, but (as with all organs, of course) bigger is better. 

I was wondering if there is anyone else out there interested in this sort of thing.  It might take years, but if we work together we might be able to leave future generations of Wake people a reminder of how great inspirational church music used to sound--and it could have our names on it somewhere!
