There's a thread over on the lunatic fringe board declaring us 1-17 on the road in the ACC since Bz came to Wake. In all of their hate for our leader, they completely ignore 6 dominating moral victories that Bzdelik has engineered through a combination of stifling defense, pounding the boards, and excellent offensive efficiency. All of this without the support of a fanbase that is hung up on traditional wins and with many players who didn't even deserve to wear the Wake Forest name on their chest.

Now, I don't know what you saw at Clemson last night, but I saw a team that dominated Clemson the RIGHT way. We true Wake fans can hold our heads high after that outcome. If Cav had hit even one more shot, I'd contend that the game should have gone in the moral "tie" category, improving our already great 7-11 ACC road record under Coach Bz to 7-10-1. The ball just didn't bounce our way and shots didn't fall. Noted, if Clemson hadn't played with so little character, rudely blocking so many shots, we may even have pulled off the moral victory.

Despite Odom's claim that the end is not the trophy, I contend he was wrong. It's not ACC Championships, NCAA Championships, or even NIT Championships we're playing for. We are Wake Forest. With Bzdelik at the helm, we are on course to compete for and win multiple "Right Way" Championships over the next several seasons. Just give him some more time to get HIS players to Wake and let's hope he doesn't get the itch to sacrifice himself yet again, and jump to the next opportunity to go clean up someone else's mess before he leads us to the holy land (seriously Wellman, throw some more money at the man...he's one of the most underpaid coaches in the ACC!!).

I lived in Denver and went to Colorado games before Bz got there.  I can honestly tell you the the program he took over had the talent of Western Carolina, not Kansas. (No offense WCU)

Bzz's 5% road winning% is despicable.    

We went 4-20 (2-14 ACC) on the road in 06-07 and 07-08.

Those were the two worst years between Staak and Bzzzz.

Just think they pay that man a MILLION DOLLARS a year for that record, I don't know about the rest of you guys but Buzz has a pretty sweet deal!

Yeah - definitely hasn't been 6 moral victories. Unless you count me giving up on seasons and playing golf instead of cussing at the TV as moral victories.
