I am offended by the Happy Holiday email greeting I received from the Wake Forest Athletic department - NOT wishing me a Merry Christmas.  Further deterioration of the values that Wake was founded on.
If they must be PC then wish me a Merry Christmas and others a Happy Holiday but don't leave Christmas out of the greeting.

United States of the Offended. Why can't you just be happy somebody wished you happy whatever? This whole getting your panties in a wad over a greeting routine is the whole reason why we have "Happy Holidays" these days.

Nothing wrong with wishing someone well for the holidays. I'm Christian, but there are other holidays going on this time of year. Christmas is my holiday, so in effect they did just wish me a good Christmas.

^^^This.  If you are offended by happy holidays then please don't get all defensive when someone tells you they don't celebrate Christmas (I'm talking about the birth of Jesus, not presents) and they don't want to be wished a Merry Christmas.  This is the least of anyone's worried at Wake.

This is coming from someone that says Merry Christmas and typically opens presents on Christmas Eve so the day itself focuses more on the meaning of "Christmas".

Also, this is probably a quad subject.
