I think so, as a matter of fact, they have been dead for a long time but they didn't realize it evidently

I give it a week before various Congressmen start holding hearings on the state of the NCAA.  Just wait the circus will soon expand.

That would be 11.  You would think they would get one more than make a 12 team conference with east and west divisions.

Creighton would be the best available Catholic school, but then the east/west split splits Dayton and Xavier.  Not sure that's ideal.

Is there a possible expansion to Boston instead with BU or Northeastern?

According to ESPN, 7 schools voted unanimously today to bolt the Big East.

Leaving in 2015. I can't see it lasting that long. I'm hoping this means ND and Louisville will be able to bolt early and join us next year rather than wait until 2014.

And the ACC has been long dead as a football conference for the same time.  If you haven't noticed the Big East has been ranked ahead of the ACC the last several years.

At least now the Big Least wants to have those 7 schools known as basketball schools.
