What do we know? Here is their
site.
Fortunately, Herb Pope is gone. That guy just killed us.
Currently, they are 6-2 with losses to LSU and Washington. No common opponents, yet. They haven't beaten anyone good yet, but they haven't lost to anyone terrible yet, either.
(had a box of scores here, but skewed the post -- go to link)They currently have three guys averaging double-figures, (Edwin 18.4, Teague 13.3, Cosby 11.4). Overall, they average 71 ppg, and hold opponents to 60. They also have held opponents to under 39% FG so far. Two guys (Edwin, Smyth are shooting over 50% from 3 on 33 attempts). Overall, they shoot 39% from 3.
As a team, they average just under a 1:1 A/TO ratio. Maybe a good thing for the Deacs, as ball control has not been a strength thus far.
Edwin is a 6-6 G/F -- could be a tough cover. (JR)

Teague 6-9, C (R Jr)

Cosby, 6-3 G (Soph)

Smyth, the other 3-point threat, is 6-4. (Graduate Student)

Curious connection to ACC: Brian Oliver, formerly of Georgia Tech, is on the roster. (R Jr)
