Wake vs Richmond Thread

Yea so everyone pretty much feels the same after last game. Anyone think we can pull this one out? I hope the kids have tuned out Bz since last week and just go out and compete. Anyone seen a Richmond game this season and if so how do they look?

RE: Wake vs Richmond Thread

Our only hope is to tell the players to forget offensive schemes and just play street ball. They are thinking way too much and not playing instinctively.

Of course this won't happen. And we will go down 20+ in the 1st half, never to get closer than 10.

I believe that I saw where Richmond bested William and Mary in overtime for whatever that's worth.

If McKie and Harris play as hard and as smart as they can, we will win this game.  If not, it is a toss up.  Richmond is not as good as they have been in the past.

the good news is the game isn't televised--that will do wonders for the blood pressure and the furniture.

Still tied, nearly 30 minutes after the thread started. Progress, my friends.

I agree with this. CJ needs to get much more aggressive.

Can be gotten via the web from cstv.  Oddly, a subscription to Wake Sports does not work, you have to subscribe to UR sports.

RE: Wake vs Richmond Thread

32-29 Richmond at the half. We are 100% from 3 (3-3) and 56% from the floor, but we have 9 fewer FG attempts. We are 80% from the line (8-10).

I've just been watching gametracker so I don't have any more insight than that. (Rebound/turnover stats aren't available via gametracker.)

Looks like we have 10 first half turnovers (Richmond with 7) and 13 rebounds (Richmond with 14).

For those in Raleigh - radio FM 105.7 is coming in clear. First time I've heard this station.

Re: Wake vs Richmond Thread

link to stats from Richmond

Better than what I'm getting from ESPN.

Turnovers: WF 10  Rich 7.  Steals are even at 4.  We have 4 Blocks they have 2.  They have 6 assists to our 3.

Richmond is 5-14 from behind the arc.  10-25 overall.
