Coaches can we go into this state game as the Hunter and not the wounded? State is limping around and we have nothing to lose. Lets just go down there with a WINNERS mentality that deserves to win and lets get it. Its foolish to think we cant win in Raleigh!

- I was very happy yesterday. You never know who reads the boards but Ill tell you this, we showed some nice cahunas going for it on 4th down's. We also used Tommy-Bo more which we had been wanting and needing.

- My only complaint as a fan from yesterday is (like way to often)  the transmission slips in the offense. We abandoned the run for much of the 2nd and really worse in the 3rd qt and it was turning ugly. YOU HAVE TO MIX IT UP. and we did back in the 4th qt and all ended well- Hey The 3rd and 1 with 9mins to go in the 3rd where we did not run the ball was a head shaker then the very next play to go for it on 4th and 1 and still not run it made my eyes pop out. But overall our coaches do a great job.

- Thought the crowd was great yesterday and more than I would expected! The home side brought it hard too. Second half when the stands got crazy loud and made BC burn a time out, really made you feel like you were sitting in a real football place. Good stuff!

Good post Chris, Hey State had 5 turnovers against UVA, but that doesn't mean we can't go into Raleigh and Win! State is a good team, but their not World Beaters, and if our players play hard, and our coaches coach hard, and we get maybe a break or 2 ,we can definitely win the ball game!

A week ago I had little hope of a W in Raleigh.  Now I feel very good about it.  We're playing better and they have packed it in (pardon the pun).  Improvement with another week of practice for the O-Line, play a smart game, and we can make it much more likely that the Pack stays home for the holidays and we get to go somewhere.

Bottom line, this is another must win situation against a team that has already lost to two teams Wake has beaten. If UNC and UVA can beat the Wolfpack, so can the Deacs!

I'll be there in Raleigh on Sat.  C-F has been a house of horrors for the Deacs.  I know we scraped by in 2006 (thank you Sam Swank) but when was our last win there before that?  State is going to come out like a wounded animal.  If we can match their intensity early and run the ball effectively we can win.  Suggestion to those going- Wake often has a decent number of fans in Raleigh but we are spread out all over creation.  Walk over to the Wake section and sit.  Always seats available and maybe we can make some decent noise.  Go Deacs!!

I have a feeling Harris will have a great game along with the rest of the WR corp will step up. I hope our passing defense doesn't show as many lapses as they have during games this year. As always looking forward to watching a game at Carter Finely.

Obviously our coaches saw something in their poor pass rush or pass coverage and that was the reason for all the passes.  Didn't bother me one bit as they were just as good as runs and when Camp catches 16 balls, that is perfect.

So am I right in my thinking that if Miami doesnt go bowling by there own accord that the ACC could possibly get only 6 teams bowl eligible one being us and the worst we could do is Charlotte or Nashville. My goodness who wouldnt take that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have to win the games to get there first!

State is beatable, sure they are, most teams are when they have 5 turnovers! If we win saturday it won't be because we didn't get States best shot! They also are sitting at 5 wins before having to head to death valley, and they will be told all week by TOB how bad this game is needed! Also the NC State faithful are all up in arms over the last 2 losses, that the Pack has suffered! So they, like us will be playing for a lot Saturday, and I doubt with our luck they will turn the ball over 5 times! Here our my 7 keys to us having a chance to win at State 1. Don't turn the ball over! 2. Win the field position battle 3. Be able to somehow establish some type of running game to shorten the game, and keep Glennon off the field as long as possible 4. Do like UVA did play soft coverage over top so you don't get beat with the DEEP BALL that State loves to throw 5. Constantly mix coverages up on Glennon to confuse him into making some bad throws, and WE HAVE TO GET PRESSURE ON HIM, and make him move outside the pocket ,were he is far less accurate of a passer! 6. We have to try, and protect Tanner, and give him enough time to throw the ball, and the recievers must all be able to help Camp out with making some key catches! 7. And finally our coaches are going to have to put a hell of a game plan together, and play to WIN, leave it all on the field! This is a lot of things that has to be done, and accomplished in order to win, but we can do this! And if State turns it over a bunch and helps us out, then you can forget a lot of what I am saying! I'm stating if State play a perfect game,these are the things we would have to do in order to have a chance to win! Go Deacs!

I think if we can come out and hit State hard in the mouth, we may see them crumble. There is a great deal of unrest in the State community...that can work against us big time (assuming the players love their coach) or it can work in our advantage if we come out strong.

you mean GAME right. All we need is one.

Talk about "do-or-die", this is a reality for NCS. Assume a good effort by them to redeem themselves.  If we don't match their intensity, it would be a long afternoon. Just the facts on the ground. Our key may be to show a strong running game.
