In reference to the election (not the prediction contest) -

I thought there was a polite request from the losers to minimize what they called a continued "end zone dance" of celebration from the victorious side?  Your photoshop does nothing toward extending the olive branch of reconciliation.

There's nothing wrong with giving credit where credit is due. Silver's feat is truly astounding and it's not political to congratulate him in my opinion.
We would all be wise to put more faith in cold, hard, number facts and quit with the usual spin surrounding "momentum", campaign crowd size, surges, and the "gut feeling" of political pundits and what not. As a mathematician by trade, Silver's work is one of the best things about the election.

Update on the Results 

I just want to point out that one ORDore also predicted that Obama would win between 3% and 4% of the popular vote. Most on here thought I was a partisan loon.

According to CNN, right now, Mr. Obama won 51.85% of the popular vote, while Mr. Romney won 48.14% of the popular vote, a difference of 3.71%. 

Only one conclusion to be drawn here, VandyMania:
