Israeli PM Endorses Obama, 171k jobs Created

Does Romney have any talking points left?

Umm, not to be cynical, but ...

I doubt seriously that Netanyahu endorsed Obama.

I do know that he has not endorsed Romney.

Source, please?

It was Israeli newspaper Haaretz that came out with the endorsement.

The outcome of the elections will be determined by the voters' decision as to which of the two candidates is good for America. But if any of them are vacillating in their vote over whether Obama has been a good president for Israel, the answer is yes.

Yeah, I saw that. Not really surprising or newsworthy, given the paper's history.

Now, when Netanyahu endorses Obama, that'll be something.

Sorry - poor choice of words.  No he did not take an ad out in the Bethlehem Sun-Times and say "I endorse Obama"

He did confirm Obama's (and the rest of the world's) policy toward Iran. The "full agreement" story. Wiping away the farce that Romney 'n the Repubs have been spinning for the last 18 months-- the one that says:  let's pretend republicans care about Israel and that Obama's main goal in life is to turn the world into a post nuclear hell-scape!

Not only all of the above...

quote:
The Jewish Council for Education & Research is proud to endorse President Barack Obama for reelection. We believe his administration has made significant progress towards fulfilling the pledges he made during his campaign. To help the President secure these gains, stand up to the Tea Party agenda, and advance new priorities, we will do everything we can to mobilize Jews and others to support his candidacy.

Ha'aretz is a liberal Israeli paper that is one of the biggest papers over there. It's not exactly friendly to Netanyahu or Likud. It's actually a really good paper with an English version available online. It's a far more unbiased news source for Israel issues than our own NYT, WaPo et al that are in the tank for the Israeli right.

Netanyahu most certainly did NOT endorse Obama. The PM has been personal friends with Romney for 38 years since they worked together at Boston Consulting Group (private equity group).

I'm not voting for either of these bums, but I slightly prefer Obama simply because he's less likely to do Likud's bidding and wage war on Iran.

I've always thought of Ha'aretz as being centrist. They only look like they lean left when someone far-right, like Netanyahu, is in power.
They laughed when I said I was going to be a comedian. They're not laughing now. -Bob Monkhouse (1928-2003)
