Well, here we are in the MLB post-season, and the last VU guy that you would expect to still be playing is still playing.  No Price, Pedro, Mikie, not even no-hit-saving Baxter.

According to one article, Ryan is the first Rule 5 player to start in the post-season after being acquired the previous winter since 1995.

Persistence really does pay sometimes and it's gratifying to see.  Congrats Flash!
