There are a few glitches right now.  Here are some tips for logging in to the new forums:

1) avoid logging in using IE9.  Lots of issues that that particular browser version.

2) Remember, login usernames are now case sensitive. If your username on Scout is displayed with a upper case letter (i.e., DonYates) that letter(s) now needs to be typed in upper case when you log in.  In Scout's system the logins for usernames weren't case sensitive.

3) Like Scout, you can use your email address that you registered with to login in place of your username 

4) passwords should be the same over there as here.

5) if you are having issues with posting after logging in, trying logging out and logging back in.  For instance, I logged in and saw "Hello DonYates" up at the top, right but when I went to post the login box popped up.  I then logged out and logged back in and was able to post. 

Thank you for your patience.  A lot of the issues I am seeing are similar to what we had 7 or 8 years ago here on Scout's system.  They will get them fixed rapidly and it'll be a much better forum system than this one once things are ironed out and folks get used to the new format.
