Re: Season Expectations
Is it more or less likely that we will reach Omaha this year or next year? Or is our recruiting starting to get to a point where it's a realistic shot that we could reach nearly every year, barring we don't lose a ton of talent in one class going to the pros ala 2011?

I think we'll make Omaha each of the next two years so long as TPec and Z deliver this year. The pitching depth we'll have next year is just astounding, so I have a little more confidence in next year, even though we'll lose leaders such as YAZ, Harrell, Gregor, Z and maybe TPec, TK and Spencie.
There's so much talent that hasn't yet shined on this squad. And I'm not just talking about beasts like Harvey, but golden arms such as Wilson, Rav and especially Pfeif.

Pitching is the issue...
We can't afford to wait until late April for the pitching to come around, like we did last year. Of course there were extenuating circumstances - Pec's injury and Selman's mysterious year in which he couldn't get anybody out early in the year and then came on at the end. We also need a Grade 1 closer.
