If all 3 perform to expectations, I think this weekend rotation could rival the one of 2007 -- maybe not at Price's level for the #1 guy, but definitely equal to Minor at #2, and WAY better at #3.Our weekday starters will be quite spectacular IMHO. Corbs has so much to choose from -- almost too much. It will test his coaching ability to get enough innings for everybody who's capable, but I have no doubt he'll be able to do it.It's also interesting for us to have battles going on for several starting stots -- LF, 3B, SS, DH. Competition is good, however, and only serves to make everyone involved better.I'll go out on a limb and also throw 2B into the mix -- I think the freshman Campbell is going to surprise everybody (I've seen almost no mention of him from all the "smart guys" who cover Vandy baseball more closely than I do.) He was, too me, an amateur, very impressive in the fall. At that time, I even ventured a guess that he would push Kemp back to the outfield and take over at 2nd at some point early in the season. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I was more impressed with Campbell than I was with Xavier Turner. So, here's my mid-season line-up (although I think others will start out the season at various positions.)LF KempSS SwansonRF Yaz1B GregorCF HarrellC NavinDH Harvey/Cooper/Wiseman3B Turner2B Campbell[yes, you read that correctly: 3 freshmen on the infield]weekend: Pec, Zio, Beedeweekday: Fulmer, Buehler, Pfeiffercloser: J.MillerWhat's really exciting about this would be our 2014 starters -- Beede, Fulmer, Buehler, or Pfeiffer. We're going to be very good for this year and the next 2, even without considering what new guys will be coming aboard.
