23 days to go....3 weeks and 2 days
I'm glad it's 40's there and it will be reasonably comfortable to start working out outside. It's 21 degrees here in DC this morning and the little pond (about an acre) next door to my office is frozen solid for the first time in several years. Brrrr.
The NCAA seems to be overly restrictive in only allowing the team to start practicing formally 3 weeks before the season starts. They must be trying to mitigate the disadvantages that the northern teams have, but it doesn't seem right to "punish" the southern teams by not letting them practice together at the start of January.
