Team practice officially starts Friday. Individual and small groups of players are allowed to work out together, but the coaches can't direct it. The pitchers have been working out for quite some time now. So, as a result, there have been no intrasquad games and no simulated pitching exercises.
The weather here is cold but nice and sunny. Highs will only be in the 40's through the weekend.
