It's getting closer. 

I'm in a particularly chipper mood this morning for a several reasons.  First, it's nice to know that we're only four weeks from the begining of the season.  By all accounts, the team is working hard, there's some great kids on the team and, based on the "Omaha Challenge, they're in good spirits and in pretty good shape too.  Second, after a long period of cloudy drizzly days, the sun is finally shining in DC.  Third, I thought I grabbed a red tie early this morning in the darkness, but while I was driving to work I looked down and the silk and the sunshine made me think it might have some dreaded orange in it.  When I got to work, I asked one of the ladies and she said, "Red, definately a bright red, but red, not orange".  I was worried for a minute but am now relieved.  I'm trying to be particularly careful not to wear orange these days with the football recruiting final days ticking by.
