... it was hard to keep up with stats, but I believe Beede struck out 3 in the first (one reached on a passed ball) and about 6 for the game. But I believe he walked 5 or 6 as well. His fastball is up to 96mph, but the control is off.

Campbell still hitting the ball well. I don't recall hearing much, if anything, about him. But since Kemp moved to LF for the latter part of Game 1 it's not out of the question to see Campbell at 2B and an outfield of Kemp, Harrell and Yaz.


And I have a question about the fans in attendance for these free games. I didn't hear anything about it tonight, but last night around the ninth inning Eric Jones said there were "about a hundred fans." Did he mean "about a hundred fans" had stuck it out until the ninth inning. Or were there only "about a hundred fans" for most of the game?

What would you who were there estimate the attendance for Game 1 and Game 2?
