I remember reading this article a few months back, and it just tore me up inside. I could sense the passion, and, as a teenager myself, I can't imagine what she had to go through, both socially and physically. She is such an inspiration to persevere and to keep a good attitude through everything.

I was certainly hoping that you would ask about her 5th year and her plans. It's so great to have such wonderful young women representing our University and she certainly is a testament to that. It appears she has had a plan in place and her intelligence, maturity and focus to take full advantage of her opportunity demonstrates what an exceptional person she is.

Another great interview, VW......it must be extremely rewarding and encouraging to be able talk with such classy young women.

That's definitely one of the benefits of doing what I do, no doubt about it.
