Re: #10, #12, #16, #17, #20
Today I see where that illustrious local newspaper has more articles and items on UTK. We seem to get the 'chopped liver' portion on coverage, by point being, OUR ratings. Of course the coverage is nothing new and will remain biased-where is the Banner when we need them. I don't even recall any mention of the 3 great recruits we have coming in.

Today, Thursday, more on UTK women's bb by the local press. Apparently they are determined to canonize the program before the season. Yeah, TSU has had a great football season, but it's success might interfere with UT bb which is the greatest event on the planet?? gymbo wrote: Did they have any articles on the Titans ? or on TSU's outstanding season ?

I posted on another thread that I have high expectations this year. I'm saying we close the season ranked #7 following an elite 8 trip.

I saw today's "paper" where the article was written by a Knoxville News Sentinel writer. Evidently the tennessean doesn't have any extra bodies to write about the prospects of this year's Vandy team, although Mike Organ certainly has the biceps to tote a micro recorder. I'm sure tomorrow's paper will have a glowing report on Holly's first "game" , maybe on the front page. I can't wait!

Re: #10, #12, #16, #17, #20
Today's article by the local paper does have an interesting article on Steph. According to MB, Steph has has improved greatly on conditioning and should log in a lot more playing time if she stays out of foul trouble. Under her picture it said "7.5 points per game average", but should have said 10+points. Her rebound average is 7.5.
If Steph has been conditioned where her feet can now move/slide for defense and rebounding a lot quicker...look out for a great season.

I suspect that our ratings might drop a little if Steph is lost for the season-one or two spots. It is taking time to find out out the extent of her injury and the long term prognosis. That girl is the last person needing more leg type injuries. Fortunately, I assume her graduation next month won't be effected. I think they might be ready to drop us a little sooner than they otherwise would if we should lose a game. Only way to prevent that is to win, win, win.
