I'd call Top 10 an "ambitious but realistic" goal. Some of the big "if's" is "If Holzer holds up physically," "If we have reasonably good fortune with injuries to other key players, "If the team truly is abled to step up defense a couple of levels," "If we play better on the road than last year".
Injuries, of course, are a different story. The other two are things that a talented and experienced team should be able to do. They are prerequisites for success, but not things that I feel like should be "if"s, but become expectations.
Like I said, I admit that I don't follow women's bball very closely. In fact, outside of Vandy, I hardly follow it at all. So I accept that my analysis might not be great. But this team should be very good. And after several years where the Vandy women have been "pretty good", I'm wanting a "glory days" kind of season.
