Thanks for the link. I always find it hard to judge much from a highlight video, but I did take a few things from it: First, he looks like a pretty long 6'4". I'd bet his wingspan is 6'7" or 6'8". Second, he's not exactly toeing the line when he shoots three-pointers. Some of them are more like 21-22 foot shots, than 19'9". His stroke looks pretty natural, too. It's not textbook, exactly, but then I've thought for years that textbook form was vastly overrated. (Look at how everybody assumed that Brad Beal would be a lights-out shooter because of his form. It didn't exactly turn out that way, did it?) Third, he can make the routine pass, both in the half-court and on the break. He really does need to add some strength, though.

Not everybody is going to square-up to shoot a "3" ala Larry Bird or Dirk N.
Sometimes you don't have time or it will get swatted with the way athletes keep getting taller, quicker, faster, jumping higher, etc. all the time.

Example: This guard (class of 2014) from the opposing team he was playing in the first clip shoots off balance when needed and still hits and looks to have solid fundamentals of shooting (also a great passer like Darius but will probably be more mid-major recruit since he is under 6-feet)...  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3UjNYZVjV8
