Thanks for the update VU has actually led for RG for quite a while. He has a very good relationsip with CJF and especially Coach Shoop, who would be his position coach.

Saw that. He did say that UTjr had showed him the best jr day though. That oughta be good for something. Seriously, I saw this mentioned on one of your boards and the pretty much consensus from the rest of the posters was that you guys were shooting for bigger game than him anyhow, or that you probably weren't ready to give him a "committable offer" whatever that is. Play on vawls, play on. Lol

Well, I don't keep up with recruiting enough to start watching it this far out, but it is good to know this kid is right here close to home. I will take a 3 star, 6'1" safety from Middle Tn over a 3 star anything from the rest of the country. We have got to build up our fan base and moves like this help.

I will have to admit there seems to be more defensive backs that UT has a legit shot at than probably any other position. But still, if Gaulden called UT tomorrow and said he wanted to commit, I have ZERO doubt they would be tickled to death and would gladly accept his commitment.

Just once can we talk about a recruit without having to hear about where Ucheat stands with the recruit? Don? Anyone else find this to be unnecessary and annoying as hell? Do other boards tolerate this over and over again?

It doesn't bother me one bit.    He is talking about where a Vandy recruit stands with another school.    As of now it is all speculation and opinion.   That is what occurs on many boards, IMHO.    We do the same thing with other prospects.   We have a long way to go before signing date.    Part of the fun is to discuss prospects and where we stand with each one.

Well, I wasn't even talking about this one. This one was ok and I responded as such, I was talking about the one below that was locked. As I said, I have no problem with the civil UTjr fans coming over and carrying on a conversation (though you can't even do that on their board), but when they come over to tell you that a recruit is sitting at a ut basketball game watching the vawls crush the cats I just question why we would want to know that. If that's being an ahole so be it. Try it on volshat. See how long you last. I have no problem with Shelby, SOG, Max, Cherokee at all, it's the news they bring at times and, for at least one of them, the under the surface digs at VU. No harm Shelby, wasn't directed at you and this post, just in general. Hope we get RaShaan, btw.

Only thing I have heard is that he is pretty enamored with Franklin and Gattis and it would surprise me if he doesn't Anchor Down. Man, I hate recruiting, especially this far out. Seems like we just got off the roller coaster, then jump right back on for next class.

It's not just this latest post. Every time a recruit is brought up on here you get an imediate advertisement for ucheat recruiting. If I cared about ucheat recruiting why would I be on this site? I'm tired of this happening over and over again. If you love the Vawls so much go post on that site. Last time I checked this is a Vandy board. Go look at any post about recruiting. The trolls are posting "awl Vawl" crap on everything brought up regarding a recruit. Some of you must enjoy the Vawl spam on here but I think it needs to be adressed. It's a bit out of hand. Mods need to take action.

I tend to agree. I thought scd was a bit over the top in this thread but looking at it all in context it is frustrating. Every single recruit we hear either how they stand with EuTee or whether EuTee is interested blah blah.
