Re: CJ Duncan is a Dore
He is a very solid pick up! He will probably be a running back. Watch his film. He's much bigger that I thought and his legs look huge. Several times he lowered his shoulder and ran over the defenders. Could be our power back. Hopefully we can get Dayes on board now.

He has the size of a safety. I would imagine that's where he will start. Hopefully we get a surprise RB commit

Doxito, 4.5 speed and he wants to be here. CJF is doing a great job finding talent that will work hard for the good of the team. IMO, this is a great pick-up.

Sure he's a great pickup but considering the other guys we have and the couple slots we have left, I thought we would leave such a valuable slot for someone "better" than a 6-0, 180 lbs dual threat QB who would probably be at southern miss if not Vandy

Re: CJ Duncan is a Dore
Well seeing as we had a primadonna decommit this evening, the balance is still 3 or so. Duncan may not have the star power, but that's not everything in this game. Ford could end up playing like a 2 star while Duncan plays like a 4-5. I'm glad he's all-in with our guys!

Great that folks seem to think we got a really good player. Sucks that we apparently are not closing very strong with this class.

Time will tell. Zac Stacy was a 2 star. I guess our program is too good for two star players? Get a grip people. Glad you chose VU CJ! Make the best of everyday given in the classroom and on the field. UtahVandy wrote: Great that folks seem to think we got a really good player. I don't think we are too good for him. Franklin does. How do I know this? Because he waited until now after others turned us down to offer him.

No such thing as unranked. I know it says that, but he will now get a ranking. When Keith Niebhur (?) tweeted it last night he said "3* Atl CJ Duncan commits to Vandy", so he is ranked somewhere. I can tell you another place he is ranked....on Franklin's board, which is the most important one of all. Welcome Mr Duncan. --------------------------------------------- --- Dorewithflare wrote:

I saw this kid play the last two years...
against my kids' school, Trinity. He ran up and down the field on them, at will. St. James won two years ago and Trinity won this year, but he was quite the athlete. I am not sure he will play QB, but he has plenty of speed and talent.

Re: I saw this kid play the last two years...
He will not play QB. He is projected at either RB or S. If all else fails he will play WR. Just watching his film he will excel at RB. He's a natural. Basically was a Wildcat QB anyway. Going to be one of the best in the class when all is said and done. Book it. Had he played RB only he would be no lower than a 3 star with 15 offers id would bet money on.

Star Power
BTW...the two starting QBs in the Super Bowl this weekend: Colin Kaepernick - 2-Star QB out of H.S. http://stanford.scout.com/a.z?...amp;nid=1869043Joe Flacco - 3-Star QB out of H.S. http://www.scout.com/a.z?s=143...&nid=267419They both have done pretty well.

--------------------------------------------- Niebuhr is a Rivals guy so my guess is he is using the Rivals star-ranking.
