RE: Seal-Jones
It rarely happens to UT even with them not winning as much as usual. The aggys are doing well selling the SEC right now.
Our staff is going to have to really dig down to keep the recruiting momentum going with last years peformance and the staffs job status

Occasionally guys like Brantley waiver & switch to UF or that Evangel kid w/ the Horn tattoo who waivered & ended up disappearing, but it is more like Hall is being "Gooched". Just for those who like the name being used as a verb. I hope Yancey is right about Samples, but it wouldn't hurt to have Prunty to call BR 549.

I believe he's only "half" right but it will be a few more weeks before we know for sure. Must be a lot of youngsters on this board. I thought the Samples/BR 549 reference was genius. I guess I am just a genius in my own mind.

Oh yeah that was a good one Note, although I was not sufficiently alert to catch it the first time around. I have ingested plenty of caffeine now, so it struck home. Hee Haw!

RE: Seal-Jones
That makes something like 34 recruits for A&M this year. Even if they have a large number enroll early, they still aren't losing that many players this year to have a ship for all of their commitments. Will be interesting to see how this one shakes out.
Side note -- GoergetownRaider, stop trolling. Everyone knows you're an aggie and we don't care. Be who you are and post all you want, you don't gain anything from pretending to be someone else on a messageboard. It just makes you look small.

And supposedly we will have at least 1 or 2 more commits in this class. Right now there are 8 commits that will be early enrollees and we have room for 10 of those as we ended up with only 15 "initial counters" in the 2012 class. I know there are 1 or 2 HS guys considered grade risks that may have their offers rescinded or Sumlin will have to ask some guys to grey-shirt. As you said, it will be interesting to see how they make this all work - including staying within the 85 total scholarship limit.

Re: Seal-Jones
I like how people think Sumlin coached his team to the season they had. It was all Johnny Football. AND if you say that they coached him...If they had plays where they said "okay everyone go out, Johnny, look around for about 5 seconds, then dodge about 10 tackles, then score" then yes, he can coach...Losing season for sure without just raw uncoachable talent at the qb position.

I used to think like this, but at some point Sumlin deserves credit....sure Keenum and Manziel have made him look amazing, but a good part of their success has to be because of Sumlin. Although, UH didn't even make a bowl game when Piland was their QB in 2010....

I like how 99% of our fans think KK is a coaching God that hung the moon (mainly because he played football here) but yet some make absolutely ridiculous post like this saying that Sumlin can't coach. That's funny stuff.

That's funny stuff. Sumlin was named Coach of the Year for the SEC...think an AG would know that. I just didnt see the "coaching". I guess he helped him get a shirt after he was arrested...

Hoza Scott, the #1 recruit in Texas for 2014, is supposed to announce today. Aggy is front runner for him too. Damn, they are killing it.

If this guy isn't going to own up then the mods need to send his ass to Rivalries where his kind of crap belongs, not on the Recruiting board
