that red stripe is a fail on the black helmet, IMO.

That was my thinking, but they look pretty slick. I'm more than happy sticking solely with our bass boat black look.

One of the recruits put a picture on istagram of the new design. No clue if we'll ever see them on the field. Maybe someone more computer savvy will post the pics...

I like the white one. But then I liked the two white ones we wore while pbt was here >>gasp  <<. Liked 'em better than this version actually, but I still like this one. I like the white ones we wore in the 70's too. I simply have no aversion to white hats and think they look sweet with the double T on them. So I'm probably not the right person to comment on white helmets since consensus on here seems to make my opinion akin to loving Hitler  . But the black helmet is just plain wrong. No red stripe needed. It just looks dumb. Same story as white really, but it's tolerable on the white one at least. zippythewondermonkey wrote:

I really like the black enamel look and the double T. The stripe is a no. The white helmet might look better with a wide stripe.
