Dude's probably been dead for years. They just needed to wait for the right time to bring it to light. Just seems too much like a diversion tactic to me in order to take away some of the steam over the birth certificate issue. It also is interesting that it happened on the 8th anniversary of the now infamous GW Bush victory speech. It's just all too quaint.

PS - This is just my opinion (right or wrong) and I stated it in the appropriate thread. I don't like Bush or Obama so it doesn't really matter to me. It's just what I think happend for what it's worth

This does not need to turn into a political circus, but I'm sure it will.

Part of me thought he was already dead as well. But the thing I'm hearing is that we have to go above and beyond to prove to the middle east that it is actually him. So apparently there wil be plenty of photos released, DNA tested and verified, etc. Sure, those could be faked as well, but the proof makes it less likely.

As for it being a diversion tactic, that would be a poor and misguided move. If he was already dead and they could release it any time, then the best time would be during the next election cycle, right after the Republican convention. The birth certificate issue wasn't heating up that much, and Trump would never get the nomination anyway. This upcoming wave of public approval will die out long before November 2012.

I disagree! Obooba's numbers are in the crapper and he NEEDS this now! The question that came to mind for me is "how many times are they going to kill this guy?" He supposedly died due to medical(renal) problems 4 years ago.

Now, the good news: perhaps we can now have the Beatles reunion tour by bringing John and George back to life! We can kill them afterwards! LOL For those who don't understand the context of my statement, Paul was asked a few years ago if there was going to be a "reunion tour" for the Beatles. Paul responded "not as long as John and George are dead"!

Question: why do many Americans now sing and dance in the streets re the death of this guy, yet they condemned the same actions of those devils, aka muslims, for doing the same re 9-11? I think we lower ourselves to their level to do so! Either all life is precious, or none is!

Actually his approval numbers have been up slightly since January of this year, and he's polling very well above every potential challenger with the exception of Romney who he polls even with ... but Romney doesn't fare well against the other Republicans. I don't care either way, I'm just saying that the timing isn't right and the numbers are too high for this conspiracy theory to take hold. I think he'll get a bump from this, but it will have the same effect on the next election as the first Iraq war had on Bush Sr's reelection: none.

The positive numbers are a result of his not having an opponent! Al Sharpton could do the same! His numbers(%) are the same as the % who are on the public dole! They are just above the % of people who don't pay income taxes(43%). Imagine that! Who would have thought that people who live off others work want more and bigger goverment. Didn't see that one coming! When an opposition person is picked, the Organizer-n-chief's numbers will hover around 45-48%!
