Children's Train Overturns at Cleveland Park: One Child Dead, Multiple Injuries

A prayer service will be held at 8:30 this evening at Central Baptist Church in Gaffney. The church is located at 500 East Montgomery Street in Gaffney. The public is welcome to attend.

According to Spartanburg City Police a six year old child has died. ================================================== ==============

Update 2:30 PM

According to Spartanburg City Police Captain Art Littlejohn fifteen children and two adults were on board of the train that has derailed. All fifteen children have been taken to Spartanburg Regional, two of the fifteen were taken by air. DHEC is on the way to the scene. The derailment is under investigation.
