Joss Whedon announced as the director for the Avengers movie

The Bryan Singer "Battlestar Galactica" movie is not based on the recent tv series but set 20 years after the 1979 series, except "Battlestar Galactica 1980" is not apart of the storyline.  Singer was set to start BSG in 2001 with the same premise but 9/11 killed off the project.

First teaser of "Thor" and "Captain America" premiered at Comic Con 7/24, expect on Youtube in the near future.  Captain America has only been filming for 8 days so far

A fight broke out at the Comic Con mid afternoon that resulted in a fan getting stabbed in the eye over an argument on seating in the auditorium, and some how Harrison Ford ended up in Handcuffs on stage.  The cuffs on Ford was a joke, but the assailant was arrested and taken to jail.

Linda Hamilton to appear on season four of "Chuck" as Chuck's mom.

Zachary Quinto says they are still working on the script for Star Trek 2.  Unknown if JJ Abrams will be apart of it.  Purposely dogded the question if "Khan" would be the villain in the next Trek

"Caprica" resumes in January, expect a ton more "Zoes" according to the actress that plays Zoe.

"V" news.  Expect revelations in regards to the Vs, mainly what they look like, how long they have been on Earth, what their Agenda is.  Also the Mother of the V leader Anna will be introduced, and she is named Diana, after the main villain V in the 1980s original series.

Marvel featured a surprise panel after having the Thor and Captain America panel up by introducing the Avengers Panel.  Actors playing the characters Iron Man (Downey Jr), Cap (Evans), Thor (Hemsworth), Black Widow (Johannsen), Fury (Jackson), New Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), along with Joss Whedon.

I didn't read it all, but I did see the name Linda Hamilton.

Man was she hot when she was young.


Has anyone ever seen Thelma Lou (Barney Fife's girlfriend) when she was young? I mean way back before she was on the Andy Griffin show. She was hot too. Barney could not have handled her. lol
