Bowl Destination
Everyone is projecting USC to face Michigan in the Outback.

Re: Bowl Destination
Tampa, and the chance to beat Meech-igan, sounds good to me.

I read that as well and also possibly Northwestern. Just hope we beat whomever we play

Re: Bowl Destination
Every time I go to a sports bar for college football, if Michigan is playing, there is a HUGE loud crowd, whether I want to watch that game of not.
Without knowing, I suspect they've got to have a bigger fanbase than anyone other than Notre Dame.

Re: Bowl Destination
I'm somewhat surprised at this. Consensus was that Texas A&M was going to the Capital One Bowl. Now, UGA vs Nebraska. Does this set up the Texas A&M vs Texas game in the Cotton Bowl? ...And LSU vs the Clempsums in the EAT MO SHIKin Bowl?

I live in Florida and I hate Tampa! It's dirty and all of Ebor city sucks except the Columbian Restaurant! Sigh!

Michigan has the largest alumni base of any college. And they travel well. Ludwick wrote: Every time I go to a sports bar for college football, if Michigan is playing, there is a HUGE loud crowd, whether I want to watch that game of not.

I saw Michigan on 60 minutes last week. I am now more impressed. I hope we provide the TV audience a good game.

Re: Bowl Destination
Now that it is official I am excited about the game! I think we will be about a 7-9 point underdog and that may be right. BUT that is why they play the games

Re: Bowl Destination
I seriously doubt that you all will be more than 3 point underdogs. UM lost some very close games to good opponents. This is going to be a real dogfight, of that I have no doubt.

Re: Bowl Destination
Michigan has played a schedule easily comparable to ours..
having played the #1..#2...and #3 teams in the country (Giving Ohio State credit for the team they actually have)...
Robinson is a special player...and easily the best at what he does that we will have played all year..

Re: Bowl Destination
I hope Denard is completely healthy but Devin Gardner stepped up quite nicely and will be very good next year. No one is quite like Denard though. He is electric. The one match up that is giving me nightmares is Clowney v Lewan. Lewan has been dinged up and has not had his best yeat but is still the best in our conference and could be a top 15 pick if he goes pro. Clowney on the other hand is just an animal cockntaterland wrote: Michigan has played a schedule easily comparable to ours..

Re: Bowl Destination
Clowney is more than any one individual can handle.....and if the officials in the SEC ever learn to call holding, he could single handedly shut down an offense.....he is that good. Should be a great game.....one of the better bowl matchups this year.
