If you could change 1 game

If you could change 1 game

If you could go back and change 1 game that USC has ever played, which one would it be? I would change the Kentucky game in 2010. That was an embarassment losing to them after beating the #1 team Alabama!

Navy 1984 is still stuck in my craw.

The loss to Clemson on the push off no call by SEC ref Washington is a close second.

Florida this year. We might be playing Notre Dame for championship.

Florida this year, cause then we would have been in Atlanta today. LSU game this year in hindsight ended up meaning nothing other than the physical toll it took.

I agree.
"Winning is not a sometime thing: it's an all the time thing. You don't win once in a while; you don't do the right thing once in a while; you do them right all the time. Winning is a habit. Unfortunately, so is losing." - Vince Lombardi (NFL Hall of Fame Coach)

With so much on the line and at a time when we'd had so little success, it would be hard to pick against Navy in 1984.  But a close second would be the SEC Championship game loss to Auburn in 2010.

Agree. That game could have changed our history from that point on.  A win and we were in the MNC game in Miami. If somehow we win that title who knows what we would have done the next 30 years.

The Florida game this year really got me. We would have been playing today.

Florida this year. 1984 doesn't help us now.

1.) 1984 - Navy (We would have played in the National Championship Game)

2.) 2012 - Florida or LSU (We would have had the opportunity to compete for a spot in the BCS Championship Game)

If we beat LSU, we would still be in a 3 way tie breaker which likely would have gone to UF, as all of the tiebreakers would still have remained tied until the last one, which is BCS standings.

Had we beat UF and lost to LSU, we win the tiebreaker as our loss came out of division, and we would hold the tie breaker over UGA and UF.

No but we could possibly won the MNC that year, and had that been the case, there's no way of knowing how that could have helped the program going forward.

How about the 1980 UGA Game?
