I say Bama, but I'm also biased thanks to my parents and being raised pulling for them before becoming a Gamecock.

But also, I hate Georgia, especially after how they gloated last year.

Well, if UGA wins they have the real possibility of beating Notre Dame in the NCG. And we'd be the team that DESTROYED the national champion.

But I think I have to pull for Bama. I live in GA, don't like the Dawgs, and I can't imagine the next year if they won the national championship...

Bama! All Bama need do is put a number 7 on a defensive player and Murray will have a nervous breakdown in the first series of the game. Eeek, it's Clowney, eeek it's...

Dang fellas! Don't none of ya'll want lowly ol' Georgia to bask in the glory for a change? lol

@Zero, we promise not to act too bad if we slip up and win it.

There are a few things I hate more in college football than Nick Saban. Georgia and Notre Dame just happen to be 2 of them. If it is Georgia and Notre Dame in the National Championship game, I believe that the Mayans were right.

Unfortunately I'm cheering for Bama.  I do not care to see UGA backdoor themselves into a national championship.  If I had my choice, I'd like to see Notre Dame and Ohio State duke it out in the NC.  Unfortunately OSU is on their bowl-ban.  I just believe that would be a really great game to watch.

The thought of watching UGA and the Irish is....yawn.

I'm "bucking" the trend here and pulling for the Dawgs. Alabama has enough and since the Dawgs are SEC East - I'll take them.

It sucks to type that.

Bama because I am certain they will beat ND.

Bama.  We compete for more recruits with UGA.

I think ObiWan used this phrase the first time ...."I would rather mop the floor at a peep show than see Georgia win"....wouldn't bother me a bit if they went 0-12 every year...it's a joke that they're even in the game ...if they beat Bama it will be their second win against a ranked team in the last three years.....but I love having them on our schedule every year because of the easy win...

Close ...I was speaking about the tarholes.....but it would apply to UGAy right now but only because we recruit the state pretty heavily.

I don't much care who wins. I just wish we were in the game, but our schedule made that improbable. Still, we could be there by making one less mistake at LSU or playing smarter at Florida, so we had our chance.

Whoever wins Saturday, I will pull for them to destroy Notre Dame.

Bama and hopefully in a blowout. On top of another loss in a big game for Mark Richt/Aaron Murray, the bulldog fans will competely lose it once again.

We cannot afford for uga to gain any more momentum recruiting wise. A national championship will put them over the top and is simply too big of a selling point.

UGA's championship window would close with a loss because they are losing a lot to graduation, and hopefully will have a mass exodus of juniors leaving like Ogletree, Jarvis Jones, and maybe even Murray (who cannot possibly have a higher draft stock than he will now).

Great point, because if we were to win it, the state of Georgia would be on lock down for a while. That's another reason I would love for us to go ahead and win it this year.biggrin
