Game Thread - USC vs. Wofford
We're here at Williams-Brice for the last home game of the season for the Gamecocks as they get ready for the Wofford Terriers.
Game will get underway shortly around 1:00 pm with Senior Day festivities taking place around 12:30-12:45.
How's everyone feel about today's game?

DeAngelo Smith is not on the dress list this week. He's suffered a concussion earlier in the week.

DeAngelo Smith and Chaun Gresham will take part in the Senior Day festivities today. Both juniors so likely they won't be back next season.

Jadeveon Clowney is not dressed out for today's game. He's in sweats wearing a walking boot.
Chaz Sutton will start in his place.

Gamecocks hold on Wofford's first series. Great defense against the option.
USC ball now and moving near midfield. Kenny Miles with two nice runs so far today.

Welcome to the Kenny Miles show. 8 carries for 61 yards and 2 catches for 12 yards. Basically the offense for South Carolina in 1st quarter.

Kenny Miles scores the touchdown for South Carolina. 2-yard TD run for the senior.
USC leads 7-0 with 14:56 remaining in the 2nd quarter. If Miles keep it up, he'll be at 100 yards at halftime.

South Carolina was driving down the field but Mike Davis fumbles near the goal line and its recovered by Wofford. They return it to the 17-yard line.
Still 7-0 here with 9:28 left in the 2nd.

Before anyone starts hammering on Davis, remember he is a Frosh. He is going to make some mistakes. Hanging on to the ball was never a problem for him in HS and I think as soon as he takes a few SEC strength hits he will learn to squeeze that think a little tighter in traffic. Boy is he an exciting runner to watch.
I like taters, franch fried taters, tater tots, tater salad, tater soup. But my most favorite tater is one that just got whooped by a gamecock.

Wofford has tied it up here at Williams-Brice at 7-7.

We're at halftime here at Williams-Brice with a tie score at 7-7.
Kenny Miles the leading offensive player for USC with 74 yards on 12 carries and 1 TD. He also has 3 catches for 19 yards.
Connor Shaw was 7-of-9 for 55 yards with 1 INT in the first half.
Mike Davis has 2 carries for 18 yards with one fumble. He also has 1 catch for 15 yards.

This hasn't not been a good start to the half for the Gamecocks.
It's 5 minutes remaining and Wofford is near midfield moving the football.

DJ Swearinger caused a Wofford fumble and its recovered by Brison Williams of the Gamecocks.
USC gets the ball on the 27-yard line with 3:33 remaining in the third. A much needed stop for the Gamecocks defense who were struggling to shut down Wofford's option offense.
