Re: Trabor

There's something inherently wrong with somebody who needs everyone to like them.

And it's also amusing that he can't understand why this happened, but oh yeah, "I know there are a bunch of people up there that aren’t happy with Mike Gundy as well.  He’s burnt a lot of bridges. I don’t know what’s going on.”

I have heard the same thing about Gundy "burning bridges" and that it has not made the higher-ups very happy.

I've heard it to, but always from the same media outlets. I wonder how much is factual and how much is just them venting in much the same way the Traber is.

Re: Trabor

I trust that Gundy is running the program the best way he sees fit. I'm sure he knows what's going on and what needs to happen better than anyone. I'm sure the "higher ups" offer advice all the time and can get a little pissed when it is not taken into account. Believe it or not, I would rather hear Gundy interviewed by Kelly Gregg, Casillas or BBJ before Trabor.

Maybe Jim should be upset with his 'sources'

Re: Trabor

Since OSU football is at its highest level -- in history -- under Gundy, I suspect most OSU supporters are generally pleased.

That is certainly what I am hearing tonight in Arlington as the Pokes, who suffered the stunning disappointment of finishing 2nd in the Big 12 (tied with ou) prepare to face the defending national champions.

Living in Houston, Jim Traber is a mystery to me.

Sounds like I am blessed.
I know, you think I'm an idiot. Try to explain it to me without condescension and arrogance and I might be persuaded

who has told you that?

the only people I've ever heard with Gundy complaints are sooner people, because he has closed the gap more than any other coach, people with personal agendas against him for stupid reasons, disgruntled ex-players who thought they'd be coddled and media people whose backsides he won't kiss

The people I heard it from are involved with the athletic department. Sorry, SFN , I am not going to call anyone out for it. The OSU beat writer for the Tulsa World and Pat Jones even mentioned it last season.

Re: Trabor

what is wrong with you people?

Gundy is the unquestioned savior of the football program, and some yahoo's on here are siding with a reported who burnt his own bridges eons ago.

"unnamed sources"... name them or keep your gossip to yourself - that's all it is, gossip.

I like what Mike Gundy has done with the football program.

Jim Traber had a bad experience when he played football at oSu and he has never gotten over it.

How is that blasting a coach? I like Gundy and I think he is doing a very good job! Show me where I have bashed Gundy on here. I admittedly discuss how Ford is not a good coach and his tenure proves that.So take that and shove it up the same place your head is!

Why is this even "news"? Trabor is a nothing compared to the people he wishes he was.
