Probably ought to wait to fire him until after the Final 4.

Re: Kudos To Coach Ford
About a half dozen games ago I posted that I was waiting for 6 more games to decide what I thought of this years team. Boy little did I know. At that time a 4-2 split would have been ok. I absolutely love the way HCTF played players from the bench and let them get some meaningful experience. Sanger Soucheck and Cox as well as Gardner and of course Brian Williams. Could pay dividends down the road. The next two games can put the frosting on top for this season. Lets win em both.

Seriously...it never hurts to dream and these guys are playing better than anyone in our conference right now and perhaps the country...if we get the right seed...you never know...at this point I'll be disappointed if we don't win the conference.

It's all about winning.
I don't think any of the earlier criticisim was personal...it was merely frustration over too many disappointing losses. When you chose to be a big-time college coach, your employer and their fans expect results...wins. And you better have thick skin because the stakes are really, really high. HCTF knows this and he knows it comes with the territory. And along with the grief comes much love when his team wins. It's just the nature of the beast.

Erack, Quail was one of the most vocal before the 6 game win streak calling for Ford's firing. So I think that was why Older responded that way.

Not to mention that QCC has also made negative comments about Coach Littell.

Could we all just admit that Ford wasn't the same coach a few weeks, months, years ago that he is now?!
There was no commitment to defense in the past, which now there is.
The offense was a mess of jacking up 3s and no inside game.
There was little rebounding. It was like a bull fight around the hoop. Toro!!
Team play has improved and thus Ford's standing.
And it all seemed to have come together in these last 6 games, which most of us Ford doubters also find refreshing. No one hated Ford. Everyone wants any OSU coach to have success, but now it seems like Ford has possibly turned the corner and is enduring himself to his team and his fans. He deserves kudos just as any winning coach.

Re: Kudos To Coach Ford
At least the fire Ford posts of five weeks ago have disappeared for now. Just don't lose to ou though are they will be back. Getting Cobbins back has helped greatly, now when Williams gets back in game shape the Pokes should take another step up. Having Williams when Nash drifts out of the game will be a major asset. Best guess, Nash will step up his game if Williams starts getting some of his minutes.

RE: Kudos To Coach Ford
I don't know what he's done, but our offense is finally clicking.. I'd be curious to hear him talk about what he's done to improve the team? or does it fall on the fact that Markel is shooting lights out and the team's just starting to click on all cylinders? or both?

It could have something to do with the defenses Ford is calling at the right times and the offensive plays he wants them to run.
