Not bigger than beating UMASS and St Joes to go to Final 4s. Or beating Mizzou after the plane crash.

Big win, but definitely not the biggest in school history. Many in front of this one.

It was big. Not sure it was The Biggest. Beating St. John's to go to Final four was pretty big, for starters.
But Great win. Heck yeah. Way to Go Pokes.

Certainly our biggest win in the past several years and our biggest win at KU since 1989...Our drought in the Phong is over!!!!!

Great Win today (fantastic actually), but not biggest ever. Like pokej said, two NCs are more important. And the Aggies beating Wilt Chamberlain and Kansas was pretty darn important too.

biggest UPSET in school history! Certainly perhaps the biggest upset in school history. Reminds me of Bedlam football in Norman Fields to Woods win.

Jayhawk here. Congratulations to you all. The Cowboys came to play and were full of competitive fire. Well-deserved victory at AFH.

biggest UPSET in school history! Certainly perhaps the biggest upset in school history. Reminds me of Bedlam football in Norman Fields to Woods win. It's a nice win, but hardly a major upset. While we shouldn't have won it on the percentages, we had the players to do it. Beating OU when they were #1 in '87 was a much bigger upset. That team didn't have a D1 player on it, yet led the dirt burglars wire to wire just dominating them. I'm sure we could dig up some others that were bigger upsets. It's a great win, and let's hope it's a turning point.

I would say this is easily one of the ten biggest regular season wins for us ever.
Go Pokes!

It's a great win, and let's hope it's a turning point. An 11-point underdog at Allen Field House to the No. 2 team, where they had won 33 straight and where we haven't won in well over 20 years. Eddie never won there while coaching OSU. Ford has one road win in his last 20+ conference games. Just what DO you consider a "major" upset?

Great win regardless of how it ranks........great victory for a coach and team that needed some road success and that had lots of reasons to let it slip away towards the end. Proud of all those Cowboys.

I just wonder who gets the credit, since Ford gets the blame after every loss.

Re: Biggest upset win in school history...has to be
We beat ou one year in Stilly back in 1986 or 1987 when big Alan Bannister was on campus. For you kids out there, Alan was about 9 feet 4 inches tall A giraffe in every sense of the word. Melvin Gilliam was the hero that night. I've never heard GIA that loud. It almost sounded like the roof was coming down That's a joke for you pups that think raising the roof was a good idea...

Biggest win of the Post-Eddie era.
Ford made some major headway in winning back this fanbase.
JUST KEEP WINNING BABY!

Re: Biggest upset win in school history...has to be
Way to go on the Bannister reference! I was a freshman the year we upset ou. Bannister for all his height was also a funny guy. Could drink the house dry, too! JR Murphy's and The Fox did not like to see him coming... Regarding the title of this thread I would have to say (purely emotional here) that the win against Missouri after the crash is ahead of this. Glad we won, just like everyone else; now let's go do something with the momentum!
Never let anyone or anything come between you and your goals in life!
