other than its inappropriate to do so and people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones without walking outside first, what exactly does she say that is wrong?  The House GOP has done exactly what that makes sense lately?

Her punishment for putting that in an email should be more time spent with convicted felon Issa's House subcommittee.

our state of grace is gone.

You mean other than the fact that it shows motive for targeting conservatives?

Context please?  What was the exchange and who was she referring to specfically?

The groups reviewing the IRS emails have now taken lines out of context several times to make them sound incendiary and grab headlines.

Lerner was traveling in Britain in November 2012, right after the election. The name of the person with whom she was emailing was blacked out, but apparently was a personal friend. She describes her travel plans -- Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, etc. Then there is this exchange:

Lerner: "I'm ready. Overheard some ladies talking about American (sic) today. According to them we've bankrupted ourselves and at (sic, should be "are") through. We'll never be able to pay off our debt and are going down the tubes. They don't seem to see that they can't afford to keep up their welfare state either. Strange."

Other person: "Well, you should hear the whacko wing of the GOP. The US is through; too many foreigners sucking the teat; time to hunker down, buy ammo and food, and prepare for the end. The right wing radio shows are scary to listen to."

Lerner: "Great. Maybe we are through if there are that many XXXholes."

Other person: "And I'm talking about the hosts of the shows. The callers are rabid."

Lerner: "So we don't need to worry about alien teRrorists (sic). It's our own crazies that will take us down."

Kabuki theatre.

Why would a competent prosecutor have to use a peremptory for a prospective juror with plain hate and bias in the first place?  Challenge for cause.  And what has that or analogizing to a biased judicial officer pre-judging the guilt (or innocence) of a criminal defendant have to do with appointing a special prosecutor?  Obama is a communist and subversive through and through.  If Gowdy's point in conflating these situations with his proposal for  a vote by the people to decide whether or not a special prosecutor should be appointed, or if an independent investigation should be conducted, then he has stripped bare the fake "impartiality/supposed independence" of our judicial system as well as the Justice Department's plain inability to self-regulate or function.  We don't need no stinkin' vote, we need people of integrity or it all comes tumbling down.

Everything is political and our Commie in Chief rides into the sunset on a gay pony.

A Canadian Top 10 List -----

Canada’s version of David Letterman's Top 10. Just makes you wanna shake your head in disbelief.

This is Canada's Top Ten List of America's Stupidity.

Of course we look like idiots .... because we are.

Number 10 Only in America could politicians talk about the greed of the rich at a $35,000-per-plate Obama fund-raising event.

Number 9 Only in America could people claim the government discriminates against black Americans when the President is black, the Attorney General is black, and roughly 20% of the federal workforce is black. While only 14% of the population is black, 40+% of all federal entitlements go to black Americans – three times the rate that goes to whites, five times the rate that goes to Hispanics!

Number 8  Only in America could the two people most responsible for the tax code--Timothy Geithner (former head of the Treasury Department) and Charles Rangel (who once ran the Ways and Means Committee)--BOTH turn out to be tax cheats who are in favor of higher taxes.

Number 7 Only in America can terrorists kill people in the name of Allah and the media reacts by fretting that Muslims might be harmed by the backlash.

Number 6 Only America would make people who want to immigrate and become legal American citizens wait for years in their home countries and pay tens of thousands of dollars for the privilege, while anyone who sneaks into the country illegally just 'magically'  becomes an American citizen (probably should be number one).

Number 5 Only in America could people who believe in balancing the budget and abiding by the country's Constitution be thought of as EXTREMISTS.

Number 4 Only in America do people need to present identification to cash a check or buy alcohol, but not to vote.

Number 3  Only in America could people demand the government investigate the oil companies to see if they are gouging the public because the price of gas went up, when the return on equity invested in a major US oil company (Marathon Oil) is less than half of a company making tennis shoes (Nike).

Number 2  Only in America could the government collect more taxes than any nation in recorded history, spend a trillion dollars more per year--for a total expenditure of 7 million dollars PER MINUTE--and complain that it doesn't have nearly enough money.

And Number 1 Only in America could the rich people, who pay 86% of all income taxes, be accused of not paying their "fair share" by people who don't pay any income taxes at all.

"Who cares about motive, this is politics"

That's fine, as long as it is being practiced by politicians.

She is a government bureaucrat, using the power of the tax code to do exactly what BO promised to do - "Reward our friends and punish our enemies"

And she wasn't referring to Republicans in general.  She's specifically referring to right-wing radio talk show hosts as ********, and some of the people who call into them as crazies.

As someone who frequently listens to right-wing talk radio during my commute, I don't consider that an unfair characterization.

Does it cause a tingle up your leg?
Here's a toast with one last pour, may it last forever plus a minute more;
May fortune sing you her sweet song; to live and love way past long
