WVB: Stanford Continues To Follow Humphreys For 2013

It was reported on VT that Coach Dunning was closely observing Kelsey Humphreys, whom many people think could be Stanford's top 2013 recruit (if we land her), at the big Las Vegas club tournament.

Here's a video of an interview with Humphreys after a fall prep match:

and a story about her that mentions both her Mom (Stanford star Wendy Rush) and her aunt Kari (whom I did not know also played at Stanford):

P.S.  Kelsey is the oldest of four kids in a family full of setters... and so was Kerri Walsh, a right-handed OPP in a family full of left-handed athletes (her Dad was a lefty pitcher in the A's organization, and her Mom and her younger sisters Kelli and K.C. were left-handed college setters).  My left-handed friends tell me that it does run in families... at least when both parents are left-handed... and being left-handed helps when setting from the front row.  Anyone remember whether Kari Rush or Wendy Rush were left-handed?

That would be a good pick up.  Thanks for the links.

I've done some new scans of old photos of the 1988 San Jose Golddiggers.  The quality is not great, but here they are:

Unfortunately, I don't have many pictures of Eileen Dempster Howard.  I have more of Wendy Rush Humphreys.

Might have had a WVB recruit at the WBB game yesterday.  Of course as I get older maybe the woman was 25?  tongue  But great looking blonde about 4-5 inches taller than Denise.
Thank ya, thank ya kindly
