Maybe he has some inside info since Stanford is listed on a couple of recruits list, listed pretty high

Maybe on lists but... 

Neither Rivals (I'm an Insider) nor Scout has any highly rated recruits on the "high interest" level for the class of 2013.

If the guy thinks Stanford is #2 in the league then he is either a recruiter himself (doubtful), an AAU whore coach or a dad of a close to commit player. Or just a blowhard.

Rivals and Scout may not TC but Stanford does.  All about Admissions.
