Jitim is keeping it real. Love your honest opinion. Time for the players to step up and execute. All the injuries don't help but we are better than what we showed against Iowa.

I have to be real with the team, Northwestern Fans, and for people who just love BigTen and College basketball.  I know the demands and standards I set as a player.  I watch this team and the body language of some of the younger players are like, "We got next year."  It shouldn't be that way at all.  Your next year is now.

When I was at Gordon Tech we had a sort of standard in our program where the underclassmen played for the seniors.  On senior day or the last game of the season everyone would be in tears because those seniors pushed and made you play hard.  You knew that you would never get a chance to play with them again.  Once you were a senior the underclassmen worked hard and played for you.

Watching the effort by Northwestern on the court is unacceptable.  I see Dave Sobo and I wish I can get out there and help him every game

Sounds like BC gave it to the players, esp seniors, after Iowa game - the need to play hard, and step up.
