I actually would like to see a powerful Illinois program. It would make our in-state rivarly meaningful. It would be good for NU. It's sad seeing them in this state.

I feel the exact opposite (surprise).  Our rivalry has much more meaning when we're kicking their azzes all over the field.

Maybe you need to read a few of theKid101's posts where he claims Illinois superiority over Northwestern to readjust your attitude.

It is kinda cute reading their empty boasts and taunts coming up from their burrows beneath the Big Ten cellar.

I hope big-gutted linemen carrying the ball near the goal line for NU becomes a tradition every time we play Illinois on Senior day.
