not sure if this qualifies, but for most of the season, Dan Vitale was incognito. That bowl game sure fired me up to see Vitale improve for 3 more season! Kid was a beast out there. Might end up better than Drake? Also, one of the redshirt OL, most likely Geoff Mogus, or Ethel Mertz.

Dwight White.

Word has it that he was tearing up things on the scout team, similar to what we heard about Van Hoose last year.

I'd also like to see a big year from Drew Smith at LB, and what Ifeadi Odenigbo and Greg Kuhar can do on the line.

All of the above are pretty good answers.

My surprise pick for next season is WR Pierre Youngblood-Ary. He was one of the best scout team players and could steal targets as early as next season. Seems like Fitzgerald really likes him.

Yes, on O - Stephen Buckley has been making waves on the scout team. Sounds like he is a terror with the ball.

I'll give you two...

I'm excited to see Joseph Jones' speed at linebacker next year. If he can put on 15 pounds of muscle in the offseason and not lose much speed, he could be a playmaker.

Greg Kuhar at DT. His highlight film was unreal. Can't wait to see what he can do next year.

Jimmy Hall. He is huge now and was very active in the Gator Bowl. Don't know if the switch to LB is permanent but he will be hard to keep off the field if he stays healthy.

This happens to be my pick as well. I'm excited to see how he fits at LB.

Hall, Henry and Robbins. I only mention Robbins because Fitz mentioned how he stepped up during the bowl prep. I hope he turns into a S Mcvilly(sp?). He was a player nobody even mentioned until this season where he was a solid contributor.

I noticed and mentioned Robbins last Spring.  I thought he looked good on a few plays in the Spring game.  Others felt he needed a year of lifting and they're probably right.  I look for him to be part of the rotation next year if he works hard.

I want to see what McHugh can do next season.
