Harper may not be the person for the job, but can we really afford to pay Fowler, TOB, Sid, and Harper? Contract goes to April 2014.

--------------------------------------------- Agreed. But only with halter tops and mini skirts during games in the contract for Harper. Anything else, and we are trying to legitimize WBB as a sport for which anybody cares. (and, don't even start with me; I've got two grown daughters; just face reality)

Jim Jabir was diagnosed with cardiac arrhythmia and has a defibrillator. Would Yow hire someone with medical problems? I still hope she hires another woman if a change is made. Surely there are qualified women out there.

Isn't it discriminatory to ask for a female coach? Hire the best person to coach the girls.

How many women are coaches in MBB even at the assistant level? Isn't that discrimination?

(and, don't even start with me; I've got two grown daughters; just face reality) +1 & lol! We often talk about what a tough job a new coach inherits when the cupboard is bare or that school has no tradition but what a mess poor Yow inherited from that fat clown Fowler. If that fool did a better or even half decent job, she wouldn't have to look like the axe lady to some doing what he didn't do for years!

Isn't it true that athletic directors hire head coaches and head coaches hire assistants? Women aren't being hired as assistant coaches so they aren't being given the opportunity to gain the experience necessary to become head coaches.

Don't know if it has been discussed but Shea Ralph would be a nice hire.

Isn't that discrimination? ...What I'm gettin at is that can be said about a lot of different races and you are right, not many women have coaching positions but IMO, the most qualified person, race or gender aside, should be hired.

While I think Ralph would be an interesting hire, I doubt DY would hire an asst coach with no prior Head Coaching experience. I think she needs to go after proven Head Coaches at a higher level and fins some way to convince them to take the job. She can start by calling Coach G and Dawn Staley at USC. I've also thought that Jennifer Rizzotti (Hartford)would be a good choice and even wanted you guys to hire her over KH.

With all the money we are spending I just think Ralph would give us good results for a cheaper price. Best HS women's player in NC history or at least one of the top 3. Title...still fairly young. I would not be sad to get either of your options though by any means

17-3 run by the Pack. Man, I expected us to get killed after the Miami debacle. Glad to see the Pack bounce back.

We have a size advantage on them and we are getting a lot of offensive rebounds and put backs. The team is looking good so far. You can watch the game here.

This team makes some really bad decisions with the ball. Don't know if that is coaching or basketball IQ.
