How in the world can the D let this happen? Russell feels like he's in Raleigh or Madison.

The whole call a timeout to ice the kicker thing has worn out it's welcome. At least for a veteran like Bryant. I'd rather him have no time to think about it and see if he can deliver.

Valiant effort by Wilson.

should've just kicked it. 65 yards in a dome, why not? better odds than a hail mary.
anyway, Matt Ryan lives to humiliate himself another day.

The Seahawks would have won if they had kicked the field goal in the first half instead of going for it on fourth down.

Those underneath passes were too easy. Two plays of 15-20 yards and they're in fg position....

I can't stand Matt Ryan. Remember what he said to the Panthers when they played in Atlanta? I hate to say it, but I'd pull for Tom Brady and the Patriots before I'd pull for the Falcons.

How many teams have to lose by playing prevent defense in those situations before they realize how stupid it is? I'd rather play straight up defense and have them score a touchdown that just let them just walk right down the field and get into field goal range and win anyway.

Re: Russell Wilson Thread (12-6) season over
Do not understand how a defense give up those passes. Were they in some kind of nickel, dime defense? Why not just play the defense that stopped them the last 3 possessions?

What makes it worse is that Atlanta anticipated the prevent-win defense and chewed right through it.

I agree. I've seen kick offs in CF that had the distance from 65. A little luck and who knows. I would have kicked.
