Men's golf 2012-13 schedule 3/11-12 Palmetto Open
NC State won't have to travel far when it opens the 2012 fall portion of its schedule this weekend at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate at UNC Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, N.C. The format is a two-day, 54-hole tournament with 36 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday. Let me get this straight.... Coach didn't have 4 of our top 6 finishers in the rotation, so their scores didn't factor into the overall team score? Am I missing something - honest question.

Albin Choi wins Warrior Wave Intercollegiate; Pack Finishes 2nd The Wolfpack finished second in the 16-team field at 11-under 853, seven shots behind Baylor. www.gopack.com/sports/m-golf/recaps/110712aaa.htmlChoi's six career victories is the second most in school history, trailing only fellow Canadian Matt Hill who won 10 times during his NC State career. In 30 career collegiate tournaments, Choi has finished in the top-10 exactly half the time, and has 24 top-20 finishes to his credit. Choi, James Lead Team Canada To Copa de las Americas Crown Duo help men and women's squads to second place finishes. (headline makes no sense to me- they won the crown and finished second?) Choi carded a final round 2-over par 74 to finish the competition at even par 288. Choi and Conners also finished second in the men's championship with a 579 four-round total. Mexico won with a 575 tally. Again, I reiterate, we have no business being ranked that low.
With Lonnie Poole and the short game facility at University Club, we have some of the best facilities in the country. Plus we are in NC, so majority of the time is good weather for golf. One ACC title in Sykes long time here. Very sad.
