The NC State women's golf team closes out its fall schedule at the 11th annual Landfall Tradition hosted by UNC Wilmington this weekend (Oct. 26-28). The tournament will be held at the par-72, 6,138-yard Jack Nicklaus Course at the Country Club of Landfall. This year's Landfall field features 17 teams, eight of which are ranked in the Golfstat Top 25. In addition to the 11th-ranked Wolfpack, No. 3 Arizona, No. 5 Duke, No. 14 Michigan State, No. 16 Oklahoma State, No. 18 Northwestern, No. 22 Purdue and No. 24 Notre Dame will be participating this weekend. Choi, James Lead Team Canada To Copa de las Americas Crown Duo help men and women's squads to second place finishes. (headline makes no sense to me- they won the crown and finished second?) Choi carded a final round 2-over par 74 to finish the competition at even par 288. Choi and Conners also finished second in the men's championship with a 579 four-round total. Mexico won with a 575 tally. Sounds like we got some good players and a few more years with them to boot. women's golf finished 13th in 2011-12 season and picked up 62.5 Director's Cup points for NC State the only 2 sports at NC State that earned more Director's Cup points in 2011-12 was men's basketball and baseball which earned 64 points each

Leaderboard LinkAugusta James is having a nice round. Before the last hole, she had vaulted from a tie for 12th to a tie for 1st. She gave back a stroke on 14 to drop to 3rd. The Pack is currently 6th.

Ladies finish up round 3 12 strokes ahead of #2 Florida International. Lindsay McGetrick, playing as a individual and not as a team member, finishes in 1st place with a one stroke win over the Pack's Brittany Marchand. Augusta James finishes in 3rd for the Pack.
