the Canes have carried the play most of the night. Theodore has just been a whole helluva lot better than Ward. Ellis has played pretty well with this porous D excuse that people use with Ward.

I know I will get blasted, but this team is in for a long season. The best D man on the team would be at best a 3 more so a 4 on any top end team in the league. The Canes just do not have any good defense. You can blame the Goalies all you want they got no D in front of them what so ever.

Pitkanen is a 5 or 6 d man at best Corvo is a 6. The Canes need D men bad. They should have traded Gleason and JP for picks and prospects when they could have. |
