Sad to see Ole Jed's twitter parody gone.  He/she/they did it very well indeed.  They captured the true essence of how are athletic department was led for a decade.

Lee Fowler hasn't been actively pursuing athletic director openings since leaving N.C. State three years ago, he said. This one just sort of happened.

He was a finalist recently for the athletic director position at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. The job went April 26 to David Blackburn, who was a longtime senior associate AD at Tennessee.

I've only been on campus once and I don't know all the facts and figures, all that sort of thing about the university yet. But I'm very encouraged about some of the things going on there.

We should all be so lucky to interview for positions, and be offered jobs, having done this level of homework.
