Kansas/Iowa St.- Big12: officiating errors were made
The refs really gave kansas the win. Kansas guy cleary charged at the end of regulation and then they call a foul on the iowa state guy on the floor. Refs suck! Now they calling fouls on Kansas when they up 7!

Yes, the officials have tried so hard to give Kansas this win. It's one of the worst officiated games I've witnessed recently, including some of the Duke/UNC gimme's that the ACC dishes out each year. This has been bad.

Iowa State really got hosed at the end of regulation.

That wasn't the half of it. The obvious foul on Withey with 1:30 left that would have fouled him out given to Young.
The touch foul on ISU with less than a minute left.
After the non-charge call, the guy that charged had his hand out of bounds when the ball landed on him, and then there was no foul on the ISU guy and they gave them 2 FTs with 5 seconds left to tie it.
I really am beginning to hate Kansas. They are the tar holes of the midwest. Every call they need, they get. Iowa State deserved to win this game, and if for some reasons they don't get a bid, it's because of corrupt officials favoring the big boys,...again.

Kansas earned the win in ot, boulder. Johnson kid went off! But that was a terrible call at the end of regulation imo!

Disgusting to watch, I really feel for the ISU fans. Not calling Withey for his 5th foul near the end of regulation was outright criminal. Ref needs an a** kicking

ISU coach was running after a ref at the end. They were jobbed.
Still doesn't take away what Elijah Johnson did, he has like 90% of the team's points over the last 9 minutes.

The worst part was seeing that little boy cry and the air being completely taken out of that building. I have never seen anything like it.

Roy's old team is about as classless as the tarholes. The dunk at the end was totally out of line. The refs actually called six fouls on Withy. These refs should be suspended. Terrible!

He should apologize, a slimeball maneuver. Many have said that's the way he operates, im not surprised.
For all the talk about that charge/block no-call, the worst was the last one that shoulda been on Withey. Dude with the fro didnt even touch the guy. Its these types of calls that frustrate me the most. With Withey out, whole damn game changes!

Dunk was terrible, but the charge at the end of regulation was worse. Call that, and the game has a totally different outcome. Seems oddly familiar...

I screamed bulls**t so loud it startled my wife. Someone should investigates these guys finances carefully for he next few years.
So horrendous that Bret and Fran were very uncomfortable describing it.
At a minimum the NBAA should issue an apology. (Good luck with that happening)

Yeah, I watched the last hour of the game. The call, that was so friggin obvious, was what should have been Witheys 5th foul!!! Johnson got called for it, But Johnson was only in the neighborhood, and Withey clearly committed the foul. That was just horrible. Withey even raised his hand and went to the bench, and of course Self sent him back out. Good move on Self's part, but absolutely horrible officiating. Folks it doesn't only happen in the ACC. The charge, umm I mean no charge was also real bad, but nothing was called on that one, in fact the announcers kept on saying something should have been called with all the contact. Yeah, Iowa St. got hosed, but Kansas did a lot of great things to stay alive, and then buried them in OT.

Funny how we complain about the refs in our games with the extra foul Withy got and the one no call and call at the end of the game. Now those big 12 refs are really bad. I've seen plenty of this sort of thing from the stripes when KU is involved, but tonight was the worst in quite a while. ISU should file a formal protest. It will do no good, but they should lodge it anyways. This sort of thing (like dook@BC a few weeks ago) has to stop. I am in no way defending what went on tonight, but Kansas took advantage of the late breaks they got, and made Iowa St. pay. That's the difference with the great teams and the mediocre. This game should have never gone to OT, but once it did, as much as I hate to say it. Kansas was better. Let alone the guy that couldn't miss near the end. Oh yes, I was rooting for Iowa St. Hey, they're pretty darn good. Should be one hell of a NCAAT this year. A lot of teams that could upset top seeds. Last year Kentucky, was a prohibitive favorite.
