As it should be. UNC was pretty much our last opportunity to be ranked.

We still have a slim chance to get a bye, but we have to get it together.

I made comments last year when we entered the ACCT that this team doesnt really seem to
have a sense of urgency until our back are against the wall.

well, I can ***** feel the wall behind us now. weve slipped from conference favorite and top6 to relative obscurity. were most likely a NCAA team due to our rpi, but this team doesnt really play to their abilities until we are backed into a corner

It would be the same with Kentucky or a struggling dook (is such a thing possible?)...

Certain teams "Should" be ranked in the general mindset of Joe sports-fan

I don't think they were receiving votes the past few weeks. Depending on what you think of UNLV, we were either UNC's best or second-best win of the season.

...as well they should. They've won 3 straight. We would've won 4 straight, and likely gotten at least as many votes.

I'm not saying that Miami does not deserve their ranking. However, if we had lost to Weak, while ranked 2nd in the nation, we would likely be dropped to 10th or thereabouts. More power to Miami though, good to know they are now a "powerhouse" in BB.

And now, our journey to the Dark Side is complete. Time for a 13 game winning streak.
